our embroidered pieces

STEP 1: WASHING
Embroidered cotton garments require special care to preserve the delicate patterns and fabric quality. Air them out between wears to avoid frequent washing.
IN CASE OF A STAIN
Opt for localized cleaning with a clean, slightly damp cloth, gently dabbing without rubbing.
For a complete wash, turn the item inside out to protect the embroidery, and machine wash at a maximum of 30°C, on a delicate cycle, with similar colors.
Use a mild detergent, without bleaching agents.
Avoid fabric softener, which can weaken the fibers and weigh down the embroidered fabric.
Do not overload the drum to avoid friction that could damage the embroidered threads.

STEP 2: DRYING
After washing, absolutely avoid the tumble dryer: the heat and friction may damage the embroidery and shrink the cotton.
Opt for air drying, flat on a towel or on a wide hanger, away from direct sunlight to preserve the colours.
Do not wring the piece to remove excess water: gently press it in a towel to remove excess water without distorting the embroidery.

STEP 3: IRONING
Iron your embroidered pieces inside out to protect the designs and prevent them from flattening or becoming shiny.
Use an iron at a medium temperature, without excessive steam, or place a thin cloth between the iron and the garment.
Avoid ironing directly over the embroidery: this could flatten the raised areas, damage the threads or melt the details if synthetic thread is present.

STEP 4: ORGANIZATION
Store your embroidered pieces flat or on a padded hanger to preserve their shape and avoid creases in the embroidery.
Avoid compressing clothes in a space that is too narrow: friction could damage the threads or distort the patterns.
Protect them from direct sunlight to prevent fading, and store them in a dry, well-ventilated place, away from humidity. For delicate items, storing them in a cotton cover is recommended.
